Luxury German car major Mercedes-Benz launched the all new A-Class in the compact segment at an introductory price of Rs 21,93,500 for the diesel variant and Rs 22,73,500 for petrol, ex-showroom Mumbai. The two new A-Class models are A 180 Sport and A 180 CDI Style, available in both petrol and diesel options, and have one of the best fuel economy in the segment, the company said in a statement here. Globally, the A-Class has been a run-away success with over 90,000 bookings within months of the launch. The A-Class also comes with service packages like 'star ease' and 'star care'. While the petrol version comes in 1.6 litre, 4 cylinder engine, the diesel model sports a 2.2 litre, 4 cylinder engine with streamlined aerodynamic design.
